this is a great initiative! However, wearing a t-shirt while filling the tube is not recommended (picture 3: in this case the box is useless)

I found this study also. They say that, in case of shortage, some masks (FFP2) can be reusable if we sterilize them:
- 30' with hot air in oven
- 10' hot water vapor from boiling water
Tests were made on another bacteria (they couldn't test COVID-19 on the microfiber) but really interesting.
Those ways of sterilization are cheap and easy to do, it can be a good alternative also (and better for the environnement).

I just talked to a doctor, anesthésist-réa at Mongi Slim Hospital, La Marsa, they need all the essential consumables:
- Gloves
- Surgical masks
- FFP2 masks
- Protective blouses
This hospital serves Laaouina, Lac, Marsa, declared focal points of epidemic.
We need to find a solution quickly.

The conclusion of the article is that wearing those DIY masks are better than nothing. But, we don’t want to arrive to the “better than nothing” part, I know we can do something better!
Also, the best way to use masks is that infected people wear it.

I saw many articles claiming that some tests can make the diagnosis of COVID-19. Through a finger-prick test and the markers IgG/IgM, they can make the diagnosis in 15 minutes.
Is it really working and efficient?

About this Forum / {MEGA THREAD} COVID-19 in Tunisia

Hi everyone,
We are all living a strange period. COVID-19 is a real threat worldwide and all around the world people are joining their knowledge to build great things and to find solutions quickly.
We are facing many problems: protections are out of stock, people are not taking this thread seriously, others are stuck at home without food. We have to help each other and if we do it all together, we'll be able to find many solutions.
In Tunisia, we are currently living on the ascending curve, you know the graph that we saw in China, in Italy and in France? we are right in the beginning of the ascending curve.
Now is our last chance to find solutions before the pick of the crisis, and we are lucky enough to be a week ahead Italy and France, we have to take advantage of it, and share all our knowledge on the same platform.
In conclusion, the main goal of this forum is to help each other, to share ideas, data and our knowledge to fight this COVID-19 and help people.

We are all here to help our community.
One of the many problems we are facing now (specially healthcare people whom are literally facing it) due to COVID-19 is the lack of masks and protection.
We saw that 3D printed protections were given to Farhat Hached Hospital in Sousse.
Those masks can protect well against projections of saliva, but they do not replace the masks (they don’t have the physical proprieties of air filtration).
Also, they are not convenient when you lower your head or want to grab something and they can’t be worn too long.
Some alternative exists through internet, and that’s why this forum was built! Let’s share all our knowledge here so we can find solutions all together.
